As I mentioned in my earlier blog-post there were some misunderstandings about the structure of our development team and resources that we used for the development of our product. Also there are still a lot of people we didn’t have the change to thank officially on the website yet. I’ll try to split the people into groups to make the structure of our development more clear.
Core team (Touchy Remix table developers/ designers)
- Peter Distol, CEO of SOCO Sensus, responsible for the hardware engineering/research and form-factor.
- Janisch Pönisch, Artist, responsible for the design and production of the outer shell.
- Ralph Das, (writer of this article), software development/ design and research.
Assisting members
- Roel Backaert, photography, made most of the fantastic shots used on this website
- Floris Leenders, hardware assistance and engineering on first Touchy Remix prototype.
- Laurence Muller, projector latency tester in the very early phases of development
- Sabina van der Hoeven, our great copywriter and press-release wizard
Community support (We like to thank the people behind the resources we used)
- Jimmy Herz (NUIgroup member), inspirational resource and fantastic artist.
- Tinkerman (NUIgroup member), for the endless tests of FTIR/ silicon layering.
- Martin Kaltebrunner (NUIgroup and Reactivision team member), for the fantastic TUIO protocol.
- David Wallin (NUIgroup member) for the initiation of an open-source tracker.
- Christian Moore, Seth Sandler and all the other dedicated AS3 developers in the NUIgroup community who brought us the initial AS3 framework.
- Christian Moore, Paweł Sołyga, David Wallin, Harry van der Veen, and all the other initial founders who I might be forgetting within the NUIgroup community
- All the core developers of CCV, Alain Ramos, Alex Popovich, Artem Titoulenko, Christian Moore, David Wallin , Laurence Muller, Ramsin Khoshabeh, Sebastian Hartman, Seth Sandler, Thomas Hanse
- Everyone at the OF (Open Frameworks) community.
- All the other hardworking members and researchers of the NUIgroup (Natural User Interface Group).
