Waking up and reading the news will never be the same. With use of the Newswell news gathered from your favorite websites, blogs, and photo collections, will gradually float by. With a simple finger tap you'll be fully informed and up to date. By dragging images and texts, you can easily share items with other users around the table. The Newswell sources can easily be adjusted through a XML file. Also the background image can be adjusted.
About
The Newswell is one of the first lifestyle applications where the application itself plays a supporting role. Unlike many other applications in which user interaction is required before news is shown, the News Well pro-actively gathers and presents news from up to 500 sources. It uses the ISO standardized format RSS to gather feeds from various sources.

Many applications are limited to a specific platform like Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OSX or Linux. Thanks to Adobe Flash technology it is possible to run the NewsWell on Windows and Mac systems. The recognition is done through the TUIO touch protocol. In order to use the NewsWell your Touch Device should produce TUIO output.
